‘Endless Summer’ Early WINTER CSA 
Farm Share at Devon Point Farm

Summer days are shortening and autumn is just around the corner. Mid-October will bring Connecticut’s first frost, which also coincides with the close of our Summer CSA. This year, as your memories of summer fade and the holiday season approaches, your dinner table can continue to bask in the final rays of summer sunshine! 

We are excited to offer you fresh, locally grown, non-GMO, nutritionally dense, beyond organic vegetables through mid-December that capture the summer sunshine.

Our ‘Endless Summer’ early winter CSA, offers you 8 weeks of vegetables and a variety of unique greens that add nutritional punch to your diet, and that are impossible to find at the grocery store! 

Membership is limited to 50 shares, and pick-up will be held every TUESDAY at Devon Point Farm from 4-6 p.m. starting Tuesday, October 17 and running through Tuesday, December 5th.

Vegetables in the winter CSA will include spinach, winter squash, arugula, lettuce and salad mix, carrots, potatoes, turnips, beets, radish, cabbage, pac choi, onions, mizuna, broccoli, broccoli raab, mustards, and European cold-weather greens such as mache, claytonia, and minutina. As always, we will send you a weekly newsletter with information about your vegetables and recipes for you to learn how to prepare them.

This will be our 6th year growing and harvesting post-freeze.  There is a risk associated with such a late-season service, as we are at the mercy of Mother Nature even more so now than in the summer months, and as always, we are grateful to you our farm members for accepting this potential risk with us. Please know that we will do everything humanly possible to keep you in vegetables into December!
